HOW to SELECT MUSIC FOR yOUR EVENT?
Our music consultant will work with you to pick pieces that work for your event. Helping you to create the atmosphere you are dreaming of and to highlight those special moments with the power of live music.
We have a large and varied repertoire list ( available to view on our website) and are open to enquiries of new works with enough time to source the sheet music.
How is the booking confirmed?
Once you are happy to confirm your date please pay a deposit to secure your booking. Our manager will explain the process in further detail.
How does the astral string quartet set up on the day?
On the day we arrive early to set up in the venue. We liaise with the planner/ celebrant/ event planner. We play waiting music for your guests to set a relaxing atmosphere and are ready to begin.
Can the astral string quartet perform with a family friend who is singing at a wedding or memorial?
Yes we can accompany your friend or relative. We will need sheet music in the required key before the day so that we have enough time to source music. Our music consultant will liaise with the singer/ performer to arrange a run through just before the event (in the venue, on the day).

do you have a singer in the group?
Yes we have a professionally trained singer in the group who can sing any style of music. Please get in touch to find out more about fees. You can hear a short example of her voice in our audio examples here.
what does the group wear on the day?
Musicians in string quartets wear neat black clothes so that our clothes do not distract from the performance and we have a unified look. We follow this tradition.
i feel nervous about discussing my ideas with a music expert?
